CIVC18026C1: C18026C-1 Mini Praxis Folding Knife - Green G10

CIVIVI Knives

The Mini Praxis is the three-inch variant of the popular Praxis design and one of the best deals of the year. Originally a 3.75" bladed folder, it had the reach and strength you require in a tactical folder with an ergonomic grip that few could fault. Add in the fact that it was a darn good-looking folder and you had a recipe for success. It was an extremely versatile knife to boot but the Praxis was huge, now way around it.

Enter the Mini Praxis featuring the same beloved profile but with a 2.98" blade to address EDC and legality concerns. The result is one of the most impressive hard-use sub-three-inch folders that we offer. The wide blade with finger choil, great thumb ramp, excellent ergonomics, tight flipping action, and deep carry clip are all features you don't generally find on a knife at this price. It's extremely impressive and one of the best deals in the industry, hands down. Get one for you and get a couple for your friends - they won't be disappointed. Watch out Spyderco Tenacious and Ontario RAT 1, there's a new dog in town and it's ready to hunt.

Best $30 EDC Flipper?
Having owned, carried & used the Mini Praxis for two years, here is my long-term review of the knife:At $30, it's a fantastic compact folder and a super slicey EDC liner-lock flipper.I adore the versatile blade shape & thin cutting geometry. Civivi's D2 steel offers industry-leading edge retention at this price point. The blackwash coating is surprisingly durable and hides scratches.Ergonomics: The overall profile, handle shape, spine ramp & finger choil is perfect for smaller to average sized hands. Very nimble. It slips in and out of the pocket very easily, is lightweight, and takes up very little pocket space. One very minor complaint about the Mini Praxis is that it's rather difficult to access the liner lock compared to other Civivi models, making it less fidget-friendly.Also, heavier/regular use of the blade requires either the use of blue LocTite, or occasional tightening of the T8 pivot screw (on my model).Neither of these considerations should be a dealbreaker for anyone though, just something to note. Conclusion: this knife offers exceptional value as a versatile and stealthy folding EDC tool for light cutting. Unless you have very large hands, you can't go wrong with the Mini Praxis.

What a bargain
What a bargain for $30. One of the best knives I've ever had. Minimalist, light, perfect fit in the hand, sharp, sturdy, very very smooth opening/closing.Again, what a bargain.

Great budget knife
If we are going solely by price to the metal used, this knife is a great deal. My only problems are the lock and the opening. When I use the finger tab to open the knife it is not as smooth as the Elementum or some of my other folders. Granted all the knives I am comparing to are above the $30 price point. The liner or frame lock is also extra stiff which will fatigue your fingers much quicker compared to my other knives. I have tried to oil the bearings, but it doesn't compare to say a qsp penguin (S35) or the CJRB crag. Great value for the overall package, just not as good compared to others when you can spend say $10 more and get a more refined knife.
