The Praxis is the kind of knife you'd want if you literally only had one knife. It has the reach and strength you need in a tactical folding knife while the ergonomic grip makes for a sure hold in any weather conditions. Add in the fact that it's a darn good looking folder and you have a recipe for success and an extremely versatile blade to boot. The 3.75" flat ground drop point blade is made of 9Cr18M0V stainless steel and rides on ceramic ball bearings for the smoothest action possible while maintaining this incredible price point. The handle is milled coarse Micarta over full stainless steel liners with a reversible deep-carry tip-up pocket clip. It's ergonomic, fast, and functional - designed to appeal to the masses and we think CIVIVI has definitely done that. We are excited about this subset brand of We Knife Company, they're poised to take over the value knife market and we're glad to be along for the ride.

9Cr Stainless Steel
A higher-end Chinese steel with great corrosion resistance, 9Cr will take a good edge but will need some attention to keep it at a razor sharpness.

I've developed a real love for Civivi knives. I own about 10+ now and this Praxis doesn't disappoint in any way. Sharp OTB as all their knives always have been. Action is very smooth to open and close, sturdy size but not heavy at all. The handle has nice grip to it. I just received it an hour ago so it hasn't gotten any use yet. Will update review if necessary. I recommend it as of now, just buy it!

Punches above its weight
Got as a present from a person who is no kind of expert in knives. First Civivi. Very impressed. Action is very easy and smooth. Handle feels good, nicely contoured. Not a finger groove fan, but these here are more indentations and so work well for a better hold and control, Love the blade shape and contours. Received RAZOR sharp. A bit big for an everyday carry. I'm a deer hunter and can see that, for a folder, this would do well with gutting, applying force to cut past the sternum, and has the sweep for skinning. I was considering the Spyderco Para. No need now.
