CIVC190464: C19046-4 Bob Terzuola Tamashii Fixed Blade

CIVIVI Knives

Few men alive design fighting knives like Bob Terzuola and absolutely none do it better. CIVIVI was wise to team up with this famed tactical designer to bring you a purpose-built fighting knife, the Tamashii. This organic fixed blade features clean lines, superior ergonomics, and a stout blade - everything you want in a tactical fixed blade. The handle features a natural flared-out finger guard and thumb ramp, with nice contouring for a superb grip. The straight back blade is a great design for slashing with a decent point for stabbing. Of course, it has a piped lanyard hole butt endpin for a lanyard - which is a must on a tactical knife - and the Kydex sheath is outfitted with the excellent Terzuola T-Clip. It doesn't get much better than this, and at this price, is almost a no-brainer in our minds.

Great style slim and compact
I really like the design but the knife I received had a poor edge. The blade was not sharpened to the heel. Thought about exchanging it but used my Worksharp instead. The steel was stubborn and took extra effort to get really sharp. The kydex sheath is excellent.I did not care for the lanyard which is like hollow paracord wrap.

Sweet!
I ordered on a Sunday, it was delivered Wednesday morning. Outstanding, Knife Center! This is a very handy little cutter! It's everything you need, and nothing you don't. Thin, light, and sharp. The handle is a mortised tang, completely enclosed by the Micarta, which is nicely finished. Not too slick, not overly grippy, but might be a bit small for some hands. Finally, the thumb grooves are a nice touch. The blade is quite nice. The flat grind cuts well, in both slicing and push cutting. In fact, all of the grind lines are nicely symmetrical. Jimping cuts are straight, with even depth, and are grabby without being aggressive. It's also quite non-reflective. The only markings are the Civivi logo on one side, and 'Terzuola' on the other. There is a subtle elegance to the overall appearance. The sheath is well done. Holds the knife tight, no movement at all, yet releases easily. Plenty of adjustments, as long as you don't mind a high ride, or wear it scout-style. Concealment is quite effective, tight to the body, with little to no printing. It has a drain-hole. The T-Clip is a nice addition. Fast, and easy to slip on/off, and it's easily removable from the sheath. The slimmed-down package can disappear into "some" pockets (it's still around nine inches in the sheath), yet still be accessed quickly with the included lanyard. It's not perfect, of course. The lanyard tube was quite sharp on the inside radius on both sides. Ten minutes with some fine-grit wet-dry sandpaper took care of that. That's it. The only issue. Overall? It's light, handy, and well thought-out. A really nice little knife.
