When we first saw the Custom Knife Factory Decepticon, it really was love at first sight. The lines, materials, craftsmanship, quality - everything on the knife was amazing. And then we got it in hand and all our feelings toward the design were confirmed. This is one amazing knife! 

However, if you were looking to use this knife as a tactical blade, the original model didn't really have the finish you'd want for covert operations. So we asked Custom Knife Factory if they were able to do black coatings. Since we know they do stonewashed finishes, the Decepticon Dark Edition came to be. 

This Alexey Konygin design is one of the coolest looking and also one of the best manufactured midtech knives we'd ever seen, and that's why we wanted to get an exclusive model for our customers. It's comprised of an all black stonewashed Titanium handle and S35VN drop point blade that is ground in a way to give more strength to the tip, like a modified tanto, but it still has a large amount of belly for slicing. It's a flipper design that is fast and smooth but it can also be opened by the thumb cutout in the blade. The action is absolute perfection, very smooth yet solid, and it comes with a replaceable steel lockbar insert. The ergonomics are dynamite if you prefer larger knives.. It really fills the hand well. The knife features a milled Titanium pocket clip, torx screw hardware throughout, and stop pins attached to the blade which are hidden when the knife is both open and closed! This knife has some of the smoothest action in the business and the lockup is rock solid. It's tactical, highly collectible, and guaranteed to amaze. Limited production of only 50 individually numbered pieces, includes certificate of authenticity and the KnifeCenter logo on the backspacer.
