The Mountain P.A.S.S. (Plain And Simple Survival) expanded in 2023 with the Mountain P.A.S.S. Tactical Group. Modeled after the Chute Knife, the Tactical Pass Com-Tact Folder was aptly named Com-Tact for “Compact-Tactical”. The Mountain P.A.S.S. Series, in general, is intended to offer no-frills outdoor tools for Plain And Simple Survival in a multitude of situations. The Tactical Group extended the design concept into a more martial application with a tactical feel. Tactical features in your pocket for E.D.C., modified Coffin Handle, Condor Classic Finish, Retention Handle Grooves, Ricasso, and classy False Edge combine in a robust package that rides easily in your pocket. The Com-Tact Folder won't let you down no matter where your journey takes you.

Advertised for a long time, finally available.
The ads for this knife were on the website for close to a year before its availability. That said, I finally ordered it and received it. It is as described: a bit rough but solidly made and suitable for hard work. The edge definitely needs work, but my Wicked Edge Sharpener will fix that. Good knife and good (if tardy) service.

Absolute trash
Only got a 2 because they make such good outdoor stuff, this is not it. So bad, can’t believe how it showed up. Bad finished, not finished steel, bad metal, screws way too small, won’t lock up, lot of play, open blade play is over 1/4 inch. Don’t worry about lock stick, locking face doesn’t even touch lock when open. Will 100% go back. Will never buy a Condor again that I can’t see beforehand. Pros: it is sharp, lol
