Hokahey is a Lakota power word that means “Let's do it!” and thus expresses courage and confidence in the face of great difficulties. This powerful expression resonates with the spirit of various First Nation cultures, and it serves as the fitting slogan for the Hokahey Knife. The dagger's contour is inspired by the small beavertail knife of the 19th century.

The blade of the Hokahey is double-sided, making it resemble a dagger, but it functions more as an all-around knife. The Micarta of the handles ensures a firm, water-resistant grip that allows you to leverage all of the 3.67" blade for all of your outdoor tasks. The Hokahey comes with a hand-crafted welted leather sheath that can easily be carried on your belt.

About the Designer

Tony Lennartz has been an icon in outdoor, survival, and bushcraft for decades. His wide range of experience is based on his years of professional activity as a soldier and policeman, as well as on his lifelong passion for life in the wilderness. During much longer stays in Canada, a close connection with the culture of the Native Canadians developed, whose techniques and methods he could learn there. The training courses of Tony Lennartz, which take place in a large area in the Eifel, have taught thousands of participants the foundations of survival in the wild for many years. Like no other, Tony Lennartz bundles the wilderness experience from decades and develops his strategies and techniques permanently. Thus his knife and axe designs are the essence of his knowledge and a clear commitment to his philosophy of uncompromising functionality.
