The Trivittata poison arrow frog is a species of amphibian which can be seen regularly at Goran Mihajlovic's amazon jungle forge. This 1095 high carbon steel Scandi ground carver lives up to the small and mighty frog. With a welted leather belt sheath and a near-indestructible natural micarta handle, the Trivitatta Puukko Knife makes for one fantastic outdoorsman tool. This knife is also great at bushcraft tasks thanks to a stout 0.120" thick spine and solid full tang construction.

Good puukko
I’ve used this puukko in combination with a machete for weeks now and it’s been a great combo. The micarta has great grip and the handle offers comfortable ergonomics while not feeling too bulky. I really like the sheath and the quality of the blade and handle. I do wish the blade was just a hair longer but it’s still great for a little companion puukko.

Incredible knife all the way around, beautifully finished and sculpted handle, one of the most comfortable handles I’ve felt on a knife, on par with customs 3-4x the price. Grind is razor sharp and symmetrical, and the spine is also a razor 90 degree. The sheath is outstanding for the price, genuine thick leather and a fantastic fit for the knife, nice and snug but not too tight as to where it’s difficult to insert or remove. Buy one, you won’t be disappointed. Honestly blown away at the quality of this knife from what’s considered a budget brand
