The high-carbon, stainless steel clipped nose blade is only the beginning of the utilitarian equation. It's super strong yet still built for fine detailed work and when matched with a highly ergonomic G10 handle, it excels in adverse conditions. The ambidextrous thumb stud deploys the blade swiftly and steadily and is held securely open with a locking liner.

Columbia River CRKT 7115 Richard Rogers Montosa Folding Knife 3.246" Bead Blasted Plain Blade, Black G10 Handles
I saw this knife on the Knifecenter website and knew this would be a great knife and it is. It is not a tactical knife per se but is a very functional work knife that can be used for a variety of tasks including outdoors work and even in the kitchen. The G-10 handles are very strong and rigid-you would think that they are metal but surprisingly are not. Opening and closing are both fluid and the blade centers well when closed. This knife is slender and carries nice and deep in your pocket. The purple accents on the lanyard mount and the hinge pivot give this knife some 'pop" in an interesting and subtle way. The knife cuts very well-I have cut cardboard and wood with it and it keeps an edge well. This is a great reasonably priced knife which would be right at home for any work day tasks.
