Cold Steel Knives

The Recon Hawk was designed by the famous custom knifemaker Andrew Demko. It features a single piece of super-tough carbon steel with a chopping blade on one side and a robust spike on the other. It includes a patented articulated sheath that’s easy to attach or remove, and it provides protection from the hawk’s sharp edges. Plus, it’s perfectly balanced for throwing! It will stick into almost any target, and is indispensable for survival, escape and evasion, or just about any outdoor activity.

Cold Steel function
Like another reviewer, I noticed a void in my arsenal. (Besides an AK :-) KCI had a Cold Steel sale and I bought 3 tomahawks. This one is the deal, although I do like the wood of the Rifleman's, and the functionality of the hammer. The Trench Hawk seems like it's built for (civilized) throwing competition, not actual combat.Like a lot of CS products, it's just a solid hunk of shaped and sharpened steel with a hard plastic handle. Yup. Good stuff. Cheap.Form follows function.

ABSOLUTELY HAPPY I BOUGHT 2!!
So, i was looking at my collection of weapons and realized i didnt have any tomahawk style blades. I did some research and leaned toward the kali inspired designs. Some of my favorite tomahawk finds were in the 5 to 600 range like Doublestar or RMJ. But then i saw Cold Steel has this baby which looked exactly like what I wanted. I was a lil hesitant because there aren't many review vids on Yt and there were none here, but I have so much Cold Steel products that I knew it was worth getting 2...SO HAPPY I DID! The weight, the balance, ease of wielding, overall size, full tang, and probably one of the sharpest out the box products I got from them! After adding a little bat grip to each i was in love! I'll see if i can add photo.
