FT12249: Morakniv Robust

Morakniv

Morakniv gave this knife a blue polymer handle with a large ergonomic handle that feels comfortable in the hand. The finger guard has been developed to optimize safety. The blade has a perfect balance between length and width, which gives a better experience when using the knife. The carefully chosen knife steel is hardened in Sweden to their exact specifications. 

The Robust model has an extra thick blade made of carefully selected carbon steel. Carbon steel can be affected by moisture and corrosive environments, therefore, you will want to get in the habit of wiping off the knife and use oil on the blade after each use. The included plastic sheath has a water drain hole and belt clip for convenient storage and carry.

Makes a great Christmas gift
I had recently purchased one from knifecenter and wrote a review however before christmas my girlfriends grandson came over to see us and saw the knife and instantly loved it. The next day I ordered,another one from you and when he opened it on christmas he was ecstatic to have recieved it and immediately clipped it on his side looking very proud. Thanks again knifecenter for a special present.

Agreed: a knife every enthusiast should own
After hearing the knife guys talk about the value (lower price, solid functionality) you get with the Morakniv brand, I decided to get one and was pleased to see there’s this Robust version. The blade is indeed thicker than the basic Morakniv — 0.128” vs 0.08” or so— and it was only $4 more than the thinner blades. I’ve used it for various things and it’s performed well for basic tasks. Everyone should own one!
