This Nurse model is unassuming but robust and able to withstand hard use and abuse, just like the shark it was named after. It even slightly resembles a nurse shark with the sheepsfoot blade mimicking the deadly broad head of the sedentary predator. The blade is made from Nitro-V stainless steel with an acid washed two-tone finish. Nitro-V is an evolution of AEB-L enriched using Nitrogen and Vanadium to create a ferroalloy that provides exceptional edge performance, high hardness, and extreme corrosion resistance especially in marine and wet environments. Michal uses a caged bearing pivot to create amazingly buttery smooth action on this and all his designs. The handle and sculpted pocket clip are made from milled contoured titanium with a green aged finish and blue accents. The edges of the blade and handle frames have a rough jigged finish which gives the knife a little character in addition to the better grip it provides. The knife was entirely built by hand in Florida and we are excited to bring this awesome knife to you.
