HB1017: Medium Drop Point Flipper, Blue

Honey Badger Knives

Honey Badger’s knives are superbly designed to be tough and affordable. The handles feature a sophisticated honeycomb pattern, providing excellent multi-directional grip in all conditions. The Honey Badger is offered in many different sizes and styles, proving that Honey Badger has a knife for every task. Honey Badger knives feature a flipper tab and a thumb-hole to meet multiple opening preferences while being extremely reliable and comfortable to use every day. A sturdy liner lock ensures that the blade will not unlock until your task is complete. All Honey Badger knives carry a 10-year manufacturer’s warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.

The HB1017 features a classic 3.19” drop point blade, a sturdy liner lock, a hexagonal honeycomb pattern on blue FRN handles, 8Cr13MoV stainless steel which holds an edge well, and extremely fast action thanks to Honey Badger’s choice to use bearings instead of washers for the pivot assembly. The drop point blade shape is a tried a true classic commonly used by most, if not all knifemakers in one form or another. The gradual blade curve is perfect for slicing and chopping tasks and allows the blade to retain extra strength behind the tip, further cementing its place as one of the most popular blade shapes in the world. If you’re looking for a new EDC, a spare knife, gift for a friend, box opener, fishing knife, or anything else, Honey Badger has got you covered!

Drop point medium flipper Honey Badger HB1017
Sweet little knife.I chose this item because I am a fan of 'real finger choil' ... on the blade. Nice 'jimping' on the spine. I like that there's a couple ways to deploy the blade.Handle length is perfect for me (four fingers) and more control with the full index finger choil.8Cr13MoV steel ... works well for me as it is easy to sharpen! Good multidirectional handle texture. Perfect 'pocket clip' length to avoid irritation in palm.***Single complaint: I really like the finger choil .. BUT .. the very first 'jimp' on the forward side of the blade digs into my index finger enough to notice. I just 'touched' it with a sharp dremmel wheel just a touch no more and fixed the situation. This is my go to everyday beat it up get it done knife now.
