When the blade gets dull, just pop it off and replace it with a new one. No more sharpening! These skinning knives save you valuable time and effort. The Havalon Piranta-Z features a longer and wider handle, yet uses the same super-sharp 60XT blades. The handle is constructed from durable black zytel military plastic. Each knife includes 12 additional stainless steel #60XT blades, 2-3/4" in length. The overall length of the knife open is 7-1/4". You'll like the easy-grip rubber side panels, ambidextrous thumb studs for one-hand opening, improved liner lock construction, lanyard opening and pocket clip.

You'll appreciate the light weight of this skinning and caping knife: less than three ounces. And no need to carry extra knives, heavy files, stones or other sharpeners.

Great System!
I use my knives mainly at work, mostly for opening packages, but also as tools, which is why I've always used a multi-tool with pliers and screwdrivers in the past. The big problem has always been that the blade gets blunt eventually, and I've never been able to successfully sharpen them back to the razor edge of a new blade. But now - the Piranta!This knife is very light, you hardly notice it clipped on to your pocket, and best of all, when the blade gets dull you just replace it! I will say that these blades are definitely stronger than a normal scalpel blade, but not as strong as a traditional edc. Still, if you break one, just replace it!

very light weight yet feels substantial excellent materials and workmanshipvery useful for harvesting peppers and tomatoes without damaging the plant but hunting season is coming and it will get a full work outno regrets and no ''got you's''
