The Moen Tooling Front Flipper follows in the footsteps of the Mongoose which was best described as a folding pocket kukri that took featherweight tactical to a whole other level. Jerry wanted to transform the beloved Mongoose into a front flipper design so he removed the traditional flipper tab and changed up the blade shape a bit. He added a thumb slot to allow for more opening methods and went with a more traditional drop point shape to make resharpening easier for the end-user. The handle is still the same size and shape, now with various inlays on the titanium slabs.

The Moen Tooling Front Flipper is still a knife that slides in and out of the pocket with ease and it rides on bearings for smooth, responsive flipping action. The slender profile allows it to disappear in the pocket when not in use and it reminds us a lot of the Ken Onion Slacker with its nestled liner lock mechanism. This production variation was made by Reate Knives in China, providing you with a top-quality product at a more affordable price.
