KLKPJ70: Jouni 70

Kellam Knives

You're invited to celebrate Jouni's 70 years on earth with the Jouni 70 knife from Kellam Knives. This fixed blade hunter is a great commemoration to Jouni and his passion for knives. Jouni came to the United States originally to pursue a career in journalism, but it was a trip back to Finland that initiated his plan to create Kellam Knives. While this knife is a tribute, like Jouni, it is hardworking and dedicated to the mission at hand. The 3.75" long blade is crafted from stainless steel into a straight back blade shape. Curly birch is a very popular handle scale in traditional Scandinavian knives; it produces a tight grain which when oiled offers a beautiful design. Wood handles in general are durable, which makes them ideal for heavy duty knives. The Jouni 70 comes with a double nickel silver bolster and a leather belt sheath.

Great carver
This is a phenomenally beautiful knife. I have another very similar model with a carbon blade, but wanted a stainless blade for tripping. This is a solid knife, great for "bushcraft", and, at least the one sent to me, has perfect fit and finish.
