The Big Jouni Folder brings you custom-made quality at a reasonable price. It has all the qualities necessary to be your next long-term EDC knife. The 3" blade is forged out of premium VG10 stainless steel. VG10 is a high quality steel that originated in Japan and has made its way around the world through the testimonials of users. Since it's a high carbon stainless steel, it has great hardness and can get extremely sharp. The Big Jouni Folder's thumb stud provides fast and easy one-hand opening, and utilizes a linerlock system. The ivory Micarta bolsters look beautiful beside the cocobolo wood handle scales. Kellam knives are handmade in Finland by expert craftsmen.

Great knife but I think a little over-priced
I bought this knife because I wanted a slightly smaller EDC with a wood handle and was drawn to the good looks of this one. Sharp out of the box and even though it's not an assisted opener, you can flick it open with one hand. Nice feel with the slightly rounded edges and since there is no pocket clip it sits in the pocket nicely.I've only had the knife for a couple of weeks so I can't speak on how long the blade durability. Overall I'm happy with the knife, I'm just not seeing how it justifies the price.

Beautiful functional
This is my EDC knife. To earn that job takes a lot. The previous knife was carried since 1988! My Kellam is beautiful, VERY well made and up to any task a good knife should be used for. Custom knife for excellent knife prices. Stop considering and click on this one!
