Jouni came to the United States originally to pursue a journalism career, but a trip back to Finland initiated his plan to create Kellam Knives. While this knife is a tribute, like Jouni, it is hardworking and dedicated to the mission at hand. The 4.88" long blade is crafted from stainless steel into a straight back blade shape. Curly birch is a very popular handle scale in traditional Scandinavian knives; it produces a tight grain which when oiled offers a beautiful design. Wood handles in general are durable, which makes them ideal for heavy-duty knives. The Jouni 80 has a double nickel silver bolster and a leather belt sheath.
