Take a step up in the world of Kershaw Blurs with the S30V Blur.
The star attraction is a blade of S30V powdered stainless steel. Powdered steel is more dense and fine-grained, enabling it to take and hold an extremely fine edge for a longer period of time. The steel exhibits excellent toughness, wear resistance and hardness. Like all Blurs, the S30V Blur has a slightly recurved blade that's ideal for multitasking, providing top slicing and piercing capabilities. The S30V Blur has a stonewashed finish for a roughed-up, non-reflective look.
The premium blade is paired with an anodized aircraft aluminum handle that's machined to accept Trac-Tec grip-tape inserts. Together, they provide a solid grip in just about any environmental conditions. The anodizing process not only enables the aluminum to accept a dye to produce color handles, but it actually strengthens the aluminum, making this one tough knife. Both handle and Trac-Tec are in black for basic good looks.
The S30V Blur is equipped with SpeedSafe assisted opening for fast and easy one-handed opening. The pocket clip is reversible for your choice of tip-up or tip-down carry. Handle is drilled to accept a lanyard.

I was in the market for a good "Made in the USA" pocket knife. After a considerable amonut of time researching I ended up buying this baby. Man, was I pleasantly surprized. You can see and feel the quality right out of the box. A little tight at first, but it comes into its own after a bit of use. Talk about sharp...be careful, it can be deceiving. I haven't put it through any tough tests yet, but I'm confident that it will live up to the hype. A litte more than I wanted to spend, but now that I have my pocket buddy, it's worth the price.

One of the the top three knives in the KERSHAW LINEUP
I've owned Kershaw knives since day one. probably 40 plus. The Blur for me is the top EDC.and S-30V is their best iteration yet. It came sharp(naturally) and it holds an edge quite well. It does wear out pocket liners quickly but I never lose my grip no matter what I get on it. The blade deploys raplidly, and locks firmly, it unlocks easily with one hand. Though I've never had a warranty problem w/any Blur I can say the Kershaw warranty is the best. I always have this knife as a backup even when carrying another brand. So The S-30 is the top one yet

The Blur has replaced the Leek as my favorite EDC creation by Ken Onion. Larger size fits the hand much more securely - I never have to "think twice" about opening this knife vs. the Leek. On top of that, a S30V blade - sharp, durable and made in the USA. Solid.
