Jared Price is a knife maker from Springfield, MO. He has been interested in knives since he was a boy and his grandfather gave him his first slip joint carved from wood. Jared's interests as a knife maker are in creating everyday carry folders, fixed blades for EDC and the outdoors, and keychain knives and tools. Jared first started making knives and tools in late 2008. As he collected knives and tools that appealed to him he began to have the desire to make his own which then led him to acquiring his own equipment and eventually, with a lot of trial and error, creating his own knives. Jared's goal as a knife maker is to be constantly expanding his knife making skills and equipment.

The Turaco front flipper from Kansept is one sleek folding knife. The crisp action compliments the satisfying click sound made from the lockbar locking the blade in place. Although smooth, the black stonewashed titanium handles have a slightly tacky feel while the minimalistic handle grooves and great ergonomics provide more than enough grip for daily use.
