Designed by Sergio Consoli, one of the most talented custom knifemakers in all of Italy, the 405 Solar model is a gentleman's knife with a snappy opening mechanism. Designed with a strong character, clear contours, precise lines, and clean surfaces, the Solar bears the unmistakable signature of Sergio Consoli. The narrow Wharncliffe blade lends itself well to many tasks, be it chopping, slicing, or piercing. The titanium handles are comfortable to hold and feature milling around the edge of the handle that gives extra grip while the knife is in use. The understated flipper tab disappears when the knife is opened, and the handle features a finger notch to accommodate a sturdy grip. The Solar is a contemporary and elegant knife, assembled with materials of the highest quality. The balance between form and function is its key.

Italian excellence
A first class design and manufacturing. Super smooth action opens into lock position with the slightest opening flick. Shaving sharp and perfect blade symmetry. I was more than happy and very likely to buy another Maserin knife. Fit and finish is like a custom made knife, maybe better. A really classy gentleman's EDC. The kind of knife you want two so you have a safe queen. AAA+

My third Maserin knife
EDC, ball bearing pivot. I like the quality of materials in the construction. SMOOTH open and close. The blade is centered in frame. Wharncliffe blade. No matter how hard you flick the blade open. Over travel of the lock is controlled. My third Maserin knife purchase. And surely not my last. This one was bought from KC. To bad they only had one. If Enzo Ferrari made knifes, This would be it.
