MKM Maniago Knife Makers

The TPF Defense is a production collaboration between Maniago Knife Makers, or MKM, and master knifemaker Bob Terzuola. The instant you get the TPF Defense in hand, you'll know it's Bob's design. The 3.27" MagnaCut blade is slicey, sturdy, and strong. While compact enough to carry every day with ease, the handle is long enough to accommodate a full four-finger grip, and the spine jimping allows additional power on both push-cuts and traditional slicing, depending on where you place your thumb. This model features a satin blade finish and thick milled Santos wood handle slabs.

With the included sheath, symmetry, and size, the TPF Defense works perfectly in either hand, as everything about this product was designed with ambidextrous carry in mind. While the included leather sheath is only suitable for vertical belt carry, we're positive that you'll love this versatile fixed blade.

More than tactical
I had this knife at hand when I was making some supper. I had to try it out for food prep. It is a good size for a paring knife and did an admirable job processing onions, potatoes, lettuce, and tomato. Would it work for cleaning fish or birds? Not a doubt. I think it would handle a number of small camp tasks. The handle isn't huge, but has much more grip than a lot of pocket knives. I've liked Terzuola designs since I bought an early Spyderco collaboration. The TPF stays true to style. This little knife is going places with me.

Nearly Perfect
I really like this knife, it nearly perfect. The satin blade is ground even and large enough for EDC. The contoured sandal wood handles are beautiful, I like the chevron pattern milled into them, and they are light while remaining tough. The sheath is nice, I don’t understand the negative reviews. The magnet takes some getting used to, but I have no trouble drawing the blade from the sheath. There is a drop of epoxy that MKM used to seal the lanyard hole on the wood handle near the finger choil, no big deal, nothing is perfect, but this knife is as close as it comes.

Great knife!
This is my new favorite knife! It came razor sharp.I really like the sheath and I like being able to have a fixed blade pocket knife. I love the wood handles with the saw cut finish. The fit and finish is perfect! The jimping is perfect in the right position! I’m able to use this knife for work and edc uses. Money very well spent!
