The Opinel Animalia collection comes already engraved with beautiful animals from around the world. They come with a variety of different animals to liven up your Opinel assortment. Animalia series knives come pre-engraved on Oak wood handles, and this version comes engraved with a boar motif. The 3.25" satin blade is made of 12C27 stainless steel and is locked open with Opinel's Virobloc safety ring.
Safety
- This knife features the Virobloc Safety ring. The Virobloc safety ring was invented and implemented in 1955. This simple yet effective locking system greatly improved the original knife. The ability to help prevent the blade from opening when closed was added to the Virobloc in 2000.
