The Mamba V2 is a more budget-friendly version of the QSP Mamba flipper. The straightforward and unobtrusive design of the knife makes it a shoo-in for EDC. The blade is made from D2, a popular tool steel commonly used in knives designed to be used every day. The clip point blade is perfect for a variety of utility uses and even outdoor tasks. Due to the high carbon content of D2, some maintenance may be necessary to keep your blade pristine. The handles are made from lightweight Micarta whose light texturing makes gripping the handles easier and the knife comes with a stainless steel pocket clip that can be worn on the left or right.

Micarta is a compressed layered composite sealed within a thermosetting plastic which creates a strong, attractive material that is impervious to water.

Includes a pocket clip for easy accessibility and a more secure carry.
D2 Tool Steel

I bought this knife, because I was looking for an budget EDC with mikarta handle, D2 or similar, flipper action and deep carry pocket clip. I wasn't expecting too much from a knife for under $50, but after unpacking the knife, I was amazed how well it is made. The overall quality, the fit and finish are simply remarkable, there is no wobble or wiggle in the pivot, very low tolerances throughout. Every part is evenly spaced, no matter if it's opened or folded. The knife comes very sharp right out of the box, a very well made box, worthy of being used for a gift. When folded, the knife has an almost gentleman knife-ish appeal to it. Thanks to the clip and the thickness, it carries very comfortable in the pocket, you almost don't know it's there. It opens and closes swiftly and with ease, and also feels good in the hand. This knife did put QSP certainly onto my map.
