QSP Knives
The Gorilla is a mid-size EDC flipper from QSP. The blade is just under 3.5" and is made from 14C28N stainless steel which gives it good edge retention and corrosion resistance. The black Micarta handles are contoured and feature finger grooves, allowing you to get an incredible grip regardless of adverse conditions. The robust drop point blade can be opened with ease either by actuating the flipper tab or with the blade cutout. When you're done using it, cage this beast by disengaging the sturdy liner lock and sliding it back into your pocket until next time. Gentle Gorilla
After trying nearly all the knives at the QSP booth at the Oregon Knife Show, the Gorilla won out for me over everything else. It flips like a dream both from the cutout and the flipper tab, the liner lock is strong, but disengages smoothly, making it easier to fidget open and closed. Its heft is reassuring without being too heavy in the pocket. It's by far my biggest EDC, but I never regret it, even in gym shorts.
