RC6PB011: ESEE-6 3D Machined Natural Canvas Micarta

ESEE Knives

Since 1997 Randall's Adventure & Training has designed no-nonsense, affordable field knives specifically targeted to military, law enforcement, and the special operations community. Many of their knives now serve in combat zones around the globe. The knives have a "no questions asked" lifetime warranty. ESEE Knives is also setting the standard for many local, state and federal law enforcement officers when it comes to high performance, compact sheath knives with multiple carry options. The NTOA scored the 3-inch fixed blade a 4.77 out of a possible 5. In addition to knives, ESEE also offers survival, land navigation, tracking and other training courses along with free survival information.

The ESEE-6 is a wilderness survival and tactical knife that might just be the best all-around fixed blade on the market. With its 0.1875" blade thickness, it's the perfect blend between toughness and cutting efficiency all in a very svelte package. If you can only choose one fixed blade, then the ESEE-6 is the one for us! These knives are made from high carbon 1095 steel. And while 1095 is a top choice for professional cutlery designed for hard use, it will rust and stain if not properly cared for - especially on the cutting edge and around the laser engraving. It is the user's responsibility to keep the blades properly lubricated and cleaned. We suggest using a dry film rust inhibitor such as TUF-GLIDE or TUF-CLOTH. The 3D machined handles give this knife an improved ergonomic grip over the slab Micarta scales. The knife also features spine jimping, full tang construction, lanyard hole, and finger choil. The knife comes with a molded plastic sheath, clip plate, paracord lanyard, and cord lock.

Camp knife
Knife came sharp right out of the box. Handle fits the hand perfectly. Sheathe is very nice and it has a nice pop when it enters. A little disappointed in the belt clip but that’s just my personal preference. It fits on the hip nicely and doesn’t feel too big to carry. Lifetime warranty is what ultimately had me purchase this blade.

Handle improvement on a true classic
I bought this one to replace the one I gave to my nephew who is due to deploy soon and was lacking a quality survival knife. It had given me nearly 10 years of faithful service itself and had shown no signs of slowing down. I had used it to pry, chop, slice, feather, light fire steels, baton, bore holes, carve traps, and even on one occasion puncture open number 10 cans. If there is such a thing as a "do it all tool" the ESEE 6 is it.I thought there was no way you could improve this, but the shaped micarta scales are a MARKED improvement. The palm swell hugs the cavity in my palm perfectly. I can't wait to take it out for some work this weekend. As always, shipping was lightning fast and the service was excellent. Love you guys at KCI.
