Real Steel Knives
The G5 Metamorph is the flagship of Real Steel design and innovation in the G(Gentleman)-Class. Ostap Hel’s unfailing ability at producing sublime design has been combined beautifully with Real Steel's constant drive for innovative in structure. The Metamorph is fitted with a Sandvik 14C28N blade that brandishes a false edge on top of the blade. It's a front flipper design fitted with bearings for smooth, unhindered opening action. The liner lock is hidden completely out of sight in the frame of the handle and to maintain its feather-light feel the handle and backspacer are entirely made of 7075 aluminum. The backspacer has also been designed and developed for complete safety when closed, due to the smooth contoured lines. The top of the blade also has a milled out "digit stop" for maximum control and effectiveness when cutting smaller objects.

Includes a pocket clip for easy accessibility and a more secure carry.
Aluminum Handles
A solid, lightweight material that can be molded, textured or anodized to provide better grip under extreme conditions.
14C28N Stainless Steel
Made in Sweden by steel company Sandvik, 14C28N is a clean, high-quality alloy with exceptionally high toughness for a stainless steel.

It takes a while to learn how to flip open this front flipper. Once I got the hang of the thumb flipping action I loved it. I had to use locktite 262 on all the screws because the blade pivot kept loosening up and the other 2 screws actually fell out. I don't think the manufacturer tightened them. It's a fun attractive little flipper but I've never had to loctite screws on a knife before. Still a very nice design. The lock teeth are very nicely angled so it's easy to use. I'm taking off a star because I had to fix it to use it which is a quality issue.

I do like this knife but if they had just put a couple more notches on the rounded part of the flipper tab it would be excellent. My thumb slips off the top from time to time. Otherwise it's a nice knife.
