The Schrade SCHF42D Frontier features a full tang 5.12" black 1095 carbon steel drop point blade. Brown Grivory handles with lanyard hole. The SCHF42D comes with a brown genuine leather belt sheath.
We like this medium sized Griffin designed knife for its simplicity and great design as well as good quality materials. The amazing price doesn't hurt, either. The design is a standard drop point with a full flat grind. They have a nice thumb ramp on top and an exposed pommel at the end that can also come in handy. I would call this a bushcraft knife. It comes with a nice saddle leather type stitched sheath that is attractive and fully functional.
