The injection-molded scales of the Sage 5 Lightweight trim its weight and add the enhanced traction of a Bi-Directional Texture pattern. This model proudly combines the best qualities of the lightweight Sage 5 platform with the unparalleled edge retention, toughness, and corrosion resistance of CPM-MagnaCut steel. Full-flat ground for optimal edge geometry, its blade is supported by a precision-machined Compression Lock mechanism and a handle injection molded from vibrant yellow fiberglass-reinforced nylon (FRN). The handle includes threaded inserts that allow the wire pocket clip to be mounted on both sides of the handle to support all end users. And, like all the Salt Series folders, the handle hardware of this knife is crafted exclusively from ultra-corrosion-resistant materials.

I love this knife . I recently purchased three sage five knives. One with Rex 121 steel,one with spy 27, and this knife. They are all great but I like this one the best.perfect size! I carry it everyday. Super sharp blade

Best spyderco
Outside of the bodacious, this is the best spyderco knife offered right now. The only thing that would make it better is if they ditched the school and extended the edge to the grip... Kind of like the bodacious. But magnacut doesn't disappoint. If had it since october and haven't sharpened it once.
