First, the blade is now made of 420HC stainless steel, providing increased toughness and better edge holding with this 21st-century steel, proven in millions of premium blades. They've also added a second blade style, a flat screwdriver tip, useful on most flat and Phillips screws, for added utility. Finally, the sheath and handle are now made with TEKNALON CFTRP, TEKNA's propriety fiber and titanium reinforced engineering polymer. These parts provide enhanced toughness and strength over the original.
