This blade was exactly what I wanted. First off, the thick 1095 blade has a great finish and heat treat. The thickness prevents it from being as sharp as some of my folders, but for its thickness it is extremely sharp (i.e it wont shave hair because its thick not because its not sharp, and the edge is more durable). The handle is comfortable, no paracord nessescary, and the holes and sheath mechanics would make paracord unrealistic. Sheath is great, just what I wanted, something I could mount anywhere. The metal belt clip is very strong, but easy to bend out to attach it to gear. The clip is non-removable, and the 2 lash points in the sheath aren't enough for a secure carry, but thats not a problem as usually lashing a sheath is not nessescary. Tiny complaint, the sheath needs a tiny bit better retention, because when it is wet, I can shake the knife out in the upside down position with some rigirous shaking...but, if you expect to get wet, dont clip this upside down...otherwise it has perfect retention when dry. great knife, and a great price for TOPS, exactly what I wanted and even better than I thought...TOPS won me as long as I can afford them
