Viper Knives
The Katla, designed by Jesper Voxnaes, is a liner lock folding knife with a relatively compact size yet tactical tanto profile that we find very appealing. The Bohler M390 steel blade, hardened at 59-61HRC, provides excellent cutting qualities and opens smoothly with ball bearings and the thumb stud or nicely designed flipper. The action is crisp and authoritative and Jesper put a small finger choil on the blade for fine detail work. The smooth, flat scales allow for easy access in and out fo the pocket. The Katla is available in a number of different versions, all of which include a real bronze pivot ring and backspacer in addition to a titanium clip allow for comfortable and discreet carry.
