Best Magnacut Treat / Top Tier EDC
I have over a dozens of knives; Spyderco's, Benchmade, LionSteel, Giant Mouse etc and I am collecting top tier steels such as K390, Maxamet, Cruwear, M390, Magnacut etc. And this is my new favorite steel and heat treat combo. I have magnacut in 4 different companies and I think Viper hit it out of the park on theirs. The button lock is a super fun feature, it's not perfect, a tiny but sticky on the push but solid lock up every time. I love the handle size and shape. It's a heavy handle and thicker than most, but is contoured perfectly. The blade shape is also surprisingly useful for many things, one of my favorite blade shapes now. The only thing that I really wish this had which would make it an 11/10, is a thumb hole opener instead of the very sharp and grabby studs. The studs will grab my pants sometimes and I've sanded them down a bit, which helps. But I still need to round them over even more.All things considered, for the price, this is my new top valued EDC knife. Beating out even a Para 3 or Para 2 (which I love).
