WEK2001F: 2001F Kitefin Folding Knife, Blue with Bronze Line

We Knife Company

We Knife Company has been around the game for a long time but has only recently begun manufacturing their own designs. They started by manufacturing OEM designs for other companies and have gained a reputation in the industry as a name you can rely on. Their products are innovative, beautiful, and extremely well-built so you can rest assured you're getting a supreme quality product at a great price.

The 2001 Kitefin is precisely the knife you want in your pocket on the regular as it is absolutely perfect for everyday carry. It's size to weight ratio is on par with the Kershaw Leek... one of the premier EDC knives on the market and the action is quite a bit better. It has excellent ergonomics for its size and the thin profile makes it easy to carry in the pocket all day. The deep bellied drop point blade is outfitted with thumb ramp jimping and a finger choil for fine detail work. The lockside has a replaceable lockbar insert for longevity and a deep carry bayonet-style pocket clip. It's fantastic in each and every way and definitely worthy of your consideration as your next purchase.

Great Slicer.....But....
This is my 3rd Kitefin by We Knife Co. This design really speaks to me. I love the spear point blade, the hollow grind, and that it is an easy carry due to its light weight.I own the gray Ti limited edition model with the button lock, and the black Ti handle with the blue stripe. Both are beautiful, and open and close well. Had to oil the black and blue one because the flipper would fail occasionally, which was not always operator error. Just plain tight and stiff. Now, for the blue and bronze one I just received. Tight as a MF! Lube did not help. Frame lock is a bear to push over and get the thing closed. Debating on whether or not to return this unit.Come on We! QC this stuff before it goes out. Otherwise, it is a great knife.By the way, I have read reviews from others complaining about poor opening and closing on the kitefin.

TERRIFIC
Got this knife in time for father's Day. It is at the top of my EDC lineup already. WE accompanied it with all kinds of stuff knife shaped paper items stating how much pride they take in making their knives, the quality of their materials envelopes a ziper case w/microfiber cloth, another clothlike a hanky of heavy cloth. Now to the actual knife. Great daily companion.thin, light, opens lighning fast flawless satin finish. It could be sharper. some time on stones then stropped and S35vn steel{its seemed to be propperly heat treated} And it will slice ciggarette papers Hair thin. Not some namby- pamby type writer paper. So this is the good stuff. Stout enougth to dismember banana boxes too.I seem to like this kite-fin knife. . . A lot! The Chineese are turning out some really good knives. one final thing. I've had my seamstress sew an inner pocket in my pants to carry my edcs. so thong holes and thongs are a necessity for me.instead of all the superflus paperwork I would much prefer they include a thong (for some cutie) just a thought. I now own sevral WE and CIVIVI knives I can recomend this brand.

Hy-lie Dynomite EDC
You are gonna love this knife! it is the right: size, weight, length{for most}, sharp, great steel, and the chiks dig it. A lot of companies only anodize one side of the knife a cheep way to do it. Then WE puts a bronze stripe w /holes down the center for some PIZAZZ... I love it. It adds no functionality but do your job with a little flash a little style YES. And No I don't loan this to my coworkers.Buy a few Cheaper {S&W} knives to sell them. You get more points on your KC account. fewer requests to borrow your knife and more appreciation for what a quality knife is. There are a few versions of this knife I like this color combo the be best. the fit and finish are first rate. We really got this one right.
