Description
ZT0452BLUCF: Model 0452BLUCF
Zero Tolerance Knives
The original Zero Tolerance 0454 was an award-winning collaboration between ZT and custom knife designer Dmitry Sinkevich. But it was also a very limited edition knife.
To make this amazing knife more readily available, ZT has created many versions based on the original's streamlined form and high-performance function. The 0452BLUCF is the same size as the original 0454, but with a blue carbon fiber front scale and a CPM-MagnaCut blade. MagnaCut sharpens to a razor edge, holds it, can be resharpened easily, and is incredibly corrosion resistant. The 0452BLUCF opens as smooth as butter with the KVT ball-bearing opening system and built-in flipper. A titanium frame lock with hardened steel lockbar insert ensures solid lock up.
As a final touch of class, the 0452BLUCF features handsome 5-spoke pivot hardware. From office to outdoors, the 0452BLUCF is ready to go wherever you're ready to take it.

My Favorite EDC Knife
This knife has become my favorite EDC / defensive carry. The action is smooth and reliable, the handle is a perfect fit for my size M-L right hand in both forward and reverse grips, and the knife is remarkably comfortable to carry considering its size. I even like the blue carbon fiber, which I had originally planned to replace with gray. I have tried other examples that had stronger detents than I like. This one is perfect.

Lightweight carry
For a 4" knife it's very lightweight for a ZT which is a good thing. It's very nice for daily carry and doesn't weigh down my pocket. I love the blue carbon scale.

0452 Sinkovich Magnacut Review
This knife is outstanding for an everyday urban EDC folder. It’s unobtrusive, has excellent ergonomics and is “civilized” enough (nothing to abrasive) to grind a hole in a pocket or cause a premature wear area in jeans (no big deal) or $100 tactical pants (a somewhat bigger deal). The blade steel is outstanding; stainless, easier to sharpen to an unusually keen edge for stainless and it retains it’s edge well under use. The mechanics are as outstanding as the ergonomics and the blade geometry is without flaw. This is a great flipper and my go to EDC knife, frequently.
