ZT0909: Model 0909 Folding Knife
Zero Tolerance Knives
Zero Tolerance and Les George have teamed up once again to create the ZT0909 tactical folder. Les went back to his roots in designing the 0909, basing it on his popular Talos, which, in turn, was a production version of Les' first custom knife, the FM-1. It might be Les' favorite of all his designs, and there are quite a number to choose from, because of the supreme ergonomics and his classic drop point blade shape.

Curves define the 0909. The rounded index finger contour, the machined scoops at mid-handle, and the deep arc leading to the blade tip all combine to give the 0909 its distinctive look. This heavy-duty powerhouse features premium materials like CPM-S35VN blade steel, G-10 handle scales, and extra-thick liners. The blade is nearly four-inches of S35VN stainless steel that's strong, wear resistant, corrosion resistant, and tough. This high-end steel ensures the user of a sharp, reliable edge that will last a long time.

The handle is built of machined G-10, contoured for sure grip and to reinforce Les' curved design concept. Strong, lightweight, and resistant to temperature changes, this glass-fiber material makes an ideal knife handle. To back the G-10 scales, ZT added extra-thick liners—like the ones found in their classic 0350 series. The beefy liners make the 0909 extremely stable and rigid, as well as providing a secure liner lock that holds the blade safely open during use. Finally, a reversible, deep-carry pocket clip allows the knife to ride comfortably low in the pocket for convenient everyday carry.

Awesome workhorse
Not as heavy as I was expecting. The knife definitely has some have to it, but it is extremely manageable and feels great my hand. I like it so much I'm thinking about purchasing one or two more for their gone. Action is smooth, Lock Up is tight. I have zero complaints about the quality or function of this knife. If you are on the fence about purchasing it, jump over. I would have paid 50$ more for this knife if it was required.

I just ordered another.
Get them while you can. This is a rock solid manly beast of a knife. Very sharp out of the box and feels really good in the hand. This will be my new EDC and I have dozens of high end blades to choose from. The price can,t be beat. As always Knife Center is my first choice when looking for a new blade.

Outstanding Heavy Duty EDC Blade
I was looking at the ZT 0909 for quite a while and jumped at the chance to pick one up when Knife Center had them on special. I'm really glad I bought it and have been carrying it daily for a few weeks now. It's a very stout folder with solid lockup, almost feels like a fixed blade when deployed. Outstanding ergonomics, arrived very sharp from the factory. I am VERY picky when it comes to folders and own several from Benchmade, Spyderco, Emerson and more, and the ZT 0909 has become my preferred blade for EDC!
