Break-in period
Initially stiff, extremely difficult both opening and closing, but a few days of deliberate use broke it in.The serrations are very good for rope and cord.

Insanely tough to open or close
I have a few Al Mar knives. I realize the brand has evolved over the years. I wanted something to throw in my gym bag and figured at this price it was a no brainier. Maybe I received a faulty one because the one in the video looks like it opens and closes almost by just thinking about it. Unfortunately the one I got takes quite a bit of effort to open and it's almost impossible to unlock and close. What a shame because otherwise I really like this model of their knives. I have a larger one and it's one of my favorites. This however makes me hesitant to spend money on this brand again.
