Bear and Son Cutlery

The Bear & Son 2S08R is a small slide-locking folding knife with rosewood handles and stainless steel bolsters. The modified drop point blade is made from polished 14C28N, a great choice for daily use knives, thanks to good edge retention and good corrosion resistance. The 3.75" Rosewood handle is designed with a stainless steel liner and stainless steel bolsters that are also polished to give it a refined look. The Bear & Son 2S08R has a slide lock similar to an Axis lock that ensures that the blade remains firmly in place and is easy to open and close one-handed with the pronounced thumb hole. The Bear & Son 2S08R has an overall length of 6.42" and features a pocket clip for tip-up carry. The 2S08R pocket knife weighs just 3.1 ounces.

Hate to say it…
…but this is a miss. Took a chance on an inexpensive American made knife but it’s a bit of a dud. Nice looking and good steel but where it falls short is the whole pivot area, from the blade to the lock bar and everything in between. Very crunchy with lots of abrasive contact points. Makes it difficult to open. I’ve already disassembled and tried to help it out but can’t remove the pivot screw anchor due to it being bent. It’s not worth sending back so I’ll keep it.
