The Burning Horizon is a collaborative effort on the parts of custom knifemakers Sean Kendrick and David Mosier. They are the chief designers for Bad Blood Knives, allowing for their custom designs to be transformed into nice production models. This knife represents Bad Blood's first mid-tech offering, made right here in the USA by Chad Nichols Damascus.
The knife features a 3.5" blade made from S35VN stainless steel with a stonewashed finish. The handle is anodized Titanium with milled pockets to match the custom folder it is based off of. It's a flipper design with ultra smooth action thanks to caged bearings. There is a cutout in the Titanium handle that makes finding and actuating the flipper a piece of cake. Each knife is individually serialized and production is limited to only 200 pieces.
