The knifemaker from the US state of Oregon knows how to combine clear lines with tactical influences in his designs like no other. The Magnum Collection 2023 is an impressive full tang outdoor knife with a massive D2 blade that has a pronounced ricasso and an unusual two-tone finish. The designer alternates between a horizontal and vertically drawn hairline finish on the blade, which underlines the special appeal of the fixed blade knife. The attention to detail also continues in the contoured handle. Perfect haptics, effortless work and a noble look - the black handle scales made of polished Micarta speak their own language. The scope of delivery includes a high-quality leather sheath with two press studs to secure it, an exclusive collector's box and a certificate of authenticity. The Magnum Collection 2023 is strictly limited to 1999 pieces worldwide.

D2 Tool Steel

With a chromium content of 12%, D2 — a tool steel — can certainly be classified as a stainless steel. Since its chromium content is right on the threshold, however, a little more care for the D2 wouldn't go amiss. As an upper-tier conventional steel, D2 offers great edge retention and stability, though sharpening it takes a little effort.
