Buck Knives
Utilizing ball bearing technology, the Buck Sprint Pro is designed for smooth and efficient opening with a reduction in friction for rapid blade deployment. A sturdy liner lock secures the blade while in use while the contoured brown burlap micarta handles give a secure grip. Available in premium materials, this knife features a convenient deep carry pocket clip for easy carry.

Drop Point
This blade is full bellied with a strong, thick point for heavier tasks. It can also be used as a general work knife. The top of the blade drops down toward the tip, which minimizes accidental puncturing while skinning. The drop point blade is strong and very versatile.

One-Handed Opening
Has a thumb stud, blade hole or other feature to facilitate one-hand use. Some models are one-hand opening and one-hand closing as well.

The steel behind the blades
Buck is a market leader in edge retention thanks to their steel selections and heat treat process pioneered by Paul Bos, whose heat treating system has proven to the best in the business. Each blade is put through a rigorous heat treat process and quality performance test then is tempered to the appropriate Rockwell Hardness through a heating, freezing and reheating system. This process, along with attention to detail through grinding and hand edging, is the foundation of Buck’s Edge2X technology. This gives you longer edge life, ease of resharpening and a blade that will not fail you.

S30V offers a supreme combination of edge retention, ductility, hardness, toughness, wear resistance, and corrosion resistance. For optimal performance, Buck hardens to a standard Rc 59-61.

People who carry a knife every day do so for one very important reason – because they use it everyday. The knives they carry must be as reliable as they are functional, designed to perform effortlessly in whatever lifestyle they are part of.

Great knife from a great company
I use this knife as my EDC for everything from cutting boxes to prepping meals when I'm on the road working and I disinfect the knife before prep of course the 841 has excelled at every task The handle material is very unique and provides good purchase on the knife, the shape of the blade makes it very user friendly while looking great. The file work gives it that extra pop while being useful as jimping. The flipper tab is very useful and aesthetically pleasing. The detent is not super strong but works very well. The only issue I have with the knife is the knife clip sticks out too far at the end buck did it to aid in putting it on your pocket but made it stick out too far making a small hotspot ( I fixed it with a vise took 3 minutes). Overall it's a home run in my opinion. If you want a unique Anerican made knife quality knife this is the route to go.

Buck Sprint Pro
I purchased this knife from Knife Center about 3 weeks ago and very pleased. Buck did this one right very smooth and strong and with the hollow ground blade slices through cardboard like butter. The only thing I did was take pocket clip off and carefully flatten in vice so no hot spot in hand and does not effect slipping in pocket. I highly recommend

Weak detent.
Very weak detent. It still flips good but I think this is going to be the big downfall of this knife for many. I'm probably going to send it to buck to see if they can do something about it. The other negatives are the strange pocket clip, it causes the knife to slid further into the way when in the pocket rather up against the seam of the pocket. They should've just used the excellent clip that the marksman and vantage has. The liners aren't skeletonized either. It's a little to thick behind the edge for my liking, a nit pick here though. The positives are the great materials and price, especially for a USA made knife. The micarta looks and feels great and bos s30v is a great steel. It has an an aluminum back spacer, a very smooth and free bearing pivot. It also has file work style gimping on the blade spine, a nice touch. The lock bar is easy to access and locks up solidly with no blade play. It's a great knife undone by that overly weak detent and strange pocket clip. With a stronger detent it'd have 5 stars easy.
