Morakniv gave this knife a red polymer handle that feels comfortable in the hand. The finger guard has been developed to optimize safety. The blade has a perfect balance between length and width, which gives a better experience when using the knife. The carefully chosen knife steel is hardened in Sweden to their exact specifications.

The blade is of high-quality carbon steel that is easy to resharpen. Carbon steel can be affected by moisture and corrosive environments, therefore, you will want to get in the habit of wiping off the knife and use oil on the blade after each use. The included plastic sheath has a water drain hole and belt clip for convenient storage and carry.

Mora Basic

To me, this is one of the best Mora knives, CHEAP and perfectly designed. It is a beautiful hunting knife and easy to keep sharp. I did a patina on the steel with an onion and it turned out beautiful. The handle could use some rubber on it to grip better. The finger guard is perfect size(probably designed that way to make up for the less grippy handle). I love this knife, and for the price you can't beat it. Buy 13 of them if you have to.

Perfect Knife

For Ten Bucks, you will never find anything that approaches the strength and sharpness of this knife not for $100. It arrived razor sharp, the steel is right for knives, it is easy to sharpen on my Pap's old Arkansas stone. I am giving these knives as gifts to good friends. It is perfect for dressing a deer, hog or any other project where clean cutting and edge holding is needed.

Fantastic Value

I don't think you could find a better knife at this price.I have 4 of these. One lives in each vehicle, one goes in my toolbox, and one goes in my daypack for picnics, short hikes, etc. It holds an edge well and is very rugged. Between being tough and being inexpensive you tend not to worry about it but it just never gives up. The only nit pick I have, and it's a small one, is that the blade may discolor depending on how you use it. We used one in prepping some food and the acid in tomatoes discolored it.I do wish they offered a nicer sheath as an option for those times when you wanted to lash it down or wear it but again, at this price it is a fantastic knife.
