Morakniv

Morakniv (formerly Frosts of Sweden) Clipper Knife. 8.5" overall length with a 3.9" high carbon steel blade. Black checkered rubber handle with colored composition trim. Molded belt sheath with water drain hole. Handle has a red trim.

Carbon Steel Blade:

Knife blades of high carbon steel can be hardened to HRC 59-60 giving best possible sharpness to lowest price. Knives made from above mentioned steel grades will after some use achieve a dullish grey finish. However, this will not negatively affect the quality of the blade. On the contrary it will somewhat improve the resistance to corrosion.

So nice had to buy it thrice

For the price of this knife and the quality it brings you might as well make sure everyone in the family has one. Buy then as gifts and you'll have a friend for life. This version the blade is a little shorter than the Mora Companion so it's easier to wield. The addition of the red accents is a nice touch.Extremely sharp out of the box, fits the hand well and you don't feel like you had to sell stock to get a good blade. Even the sheath, while not being leather or kydex works very well on your belt. My only complain is that it needs a way to attach some straps around your thigh. Flops around like my Cold Steel SRK compact.I've mainly used this for food prep and doing some small wood workI have the three versions of this blade so I'm going to copy this review.

A great little knife

Bought this for my wife to carry in her fanny pack for self defense/general abuse. This little knife has held up so well it's amazing. Every month or so I check the edge for dings & sharpness. It's easy to sharpen & keeps an edge well. This has been used to cut 1/32" steel braided cable, trim dogs toenails & cut veggies (not in that order). This little baby keeps going & going. One of the best knife bargains out there.

Don’t let the price fool you!

I have numerous hunting knives. From $200+ to this one. Not a cheep knife. Quality construction, carbon steel blade, rubberized handle. Field dressed numerous deer, sharp, excellent control due to rubberized handle. Knife does not slip, even with blood on your hands.Yes, the blade has stained, but stays sharp. Easy to resharpen in the field with a steel. This is the only knife I carry with me when hunting.Don’t let the price fool you, great knife.
