FT11863: Military Green Companion
The Companion is the all-in-one knife for outdoor buffs. 4.1" blade made of Swedish carbon steel. Patterned high-friction grip makes the knife pleasant to hold and easy to handle. Comes with a black rubber grip and military green plastic belt sheath.
Carbon Steel Blade:
  • Knife blades of high carbon steel can be hardened to HRC 59-60 giving best possible sharpness to lowest price. Knives made from above mentioned steel grades will after some use achieve a dullish grey finish. However, this will not negatively affect the quality of the blade. On the contrary it will somewhat improve the resistance to corrosion.
  • Blade Length: 4.1" (104 mm)
  • Blade Steel: High Carbon Steel, 59-60HRC
  • Blade Thickness: 2.0 mm
  • Overall Length: 8.6" (218 mm)
  • Handle Material: Rubber
  • Weight: 3.9 oz. (110 g)
  • Made in Sweden

Great all around knife
I use this knife for everything from paring fruit to batoning kindling. It's carbon steel so it holds an excellent edge for a long time. The grip is comfortable and sure and the geometry is perfect. For thhe price, you should buy three or four; I did!

Worth The Wait. This product was on back order for weeks, but I wanted the carbon blade. When it finally was worth the wait. Great finish and ready to go right out of the box. For a field knife, the carbon steel blade may take more work to maintain but using it as part of a fire making set outweighs the negative.
