The MIK-03P Gen-2 (Medium Infantry Knife) from Halfbreed Blades is a mid-size CQB, fixed blade tool, intended for use as a dedicated infantry and combat knife. With its modified drop point blade tailored for versatile utility, this multi-role fixed blade knife is packed with performance-enhancing features essential for its genre. CNC-machined from a solid slab of SAN-VG10 steel, the MIK-03P Gen-2 is satin-finished for a beautiful appearance. SAN-VG10 is a remarkable specialty Japanese steel that showcases a fusion of three layers of meticulously forged-welded steel. What sets this steel apart is the innovative proprietary laminate process of diffusion bonding, which unites distinct properties from each steel layer, resulting in a knife blade of exceptional quality. It also features an upgraded injection-molded sheath, supplied with both MOLLE and belt mounting options for customizable carry by the end user.
Purposefully crafted for the demands of the battle-space, the MIK-03P Gen-2 takes inspiration from the diverse needs of active-duty personnel and the environments they serve in, coupled with end-user feedback over the evolution of the MIK-03 product line. The MIK-03 is also available in a partially serrated edge variant with designation MIK-03PS.
