Description
JHKMCHTPATHOD: The Path Machete - Stonewashed
Hoback Knives
The Way was a machete Jake designed a couple of years back when he was working at the Fish and Wildlife Commission. It was based on the Choppa design, and since the Choppa had such a useful blade shape for the work he was doing Jake figured that making it into a machete was the next logical step.
The Path is a completely unique design that makes for a more efficient machete blade shape and handle angle. The handle is of the same shape as The Way but has a 12-degree downward angle to the handle relative to the horizontal plane of the blade. This allows for much greater leverage to be applied to the blade while cutting. Give it a try and see the difference it makes when you're whacking brush and branches! Made from Sandvik 14C28N steel, the 18" blade provides great stainless qualities and is thin enough to easily clear your path forward. Includes a nylon belt sheath.
