The KA-BAR Folding Hunter is designed with a nod to nostalgia as it rekindles the features of the old KA-BAR model 1189, a design popular for years with customers because of it's straight forward lock and traditional clip point folding blade. The old 1189 featured wood handles and was carried in a pouch or pocket, whereas the 3189 has been updated with more modern G10 handle scales and a pocket clip for more convenient carry.
