Description
LNSR22ARB: SR-22A RB Folding Knife, Red Aluminum
LionSteel
The SR-22 is the smaller brother to the SR-11 which was the evolution of the historic SR-1 model and winner of the Most Innovative Imported Design at BLADE Show 2010. The improved design features include the flipper opening with ball bearing pivot system - two ball bearings facilitating the opening and closing of the blade - and a tungsten carbide window breaker. Moreover, as its predecessor did, the SR-22 features a Rotoblock system, which blocks the frame in the open position allowing the user to use the design without fear of unlocking the blade, no matter what. The single piece aluminum frame is a unique piece, which is also available in titanium, completely worked with 4-axis machining for additional grip. The replaceable lockbar insert is made of stainless steel in order to avoid wear of the aluminum frame body. The deep carry bayonet style pocket clip is reversible and can be mounted on both sides for ambidextrous tip-up carry. This is an excellent design showing the continuing improvements LionSteel makes to their products to always keep on the cutting edge within the industry.

UPDATE !
Hello to all, I wrote a review on this knife and the trouble I was having with the dlc coming off the blade in huge chips last year, now I have a update about that problem as it has been resolved! I’ve got to say that when I first started having the problem with the knife everyone told me that I wouldn’t ever be able to get the knife fixed or replaced dew to lionsteel being in Italy , we’ve all heard the horrible story’s about trying to warranty a foreign made product, well I’m here to tell you all that lionsteel stands behind there knifes! It did take a little while to get it done but a lot of that part was dew to the pandemic and my own procrastination, all my interactions with lionsteel has been very professional and there really easy to work with ! So if you decide to try one of lionSteel’s beautifully made knifes you won’t regret it and just so everyone knows you can in fact get there knifes warranted if necessary because they sent me a brand new knife identical to the first one and it is absolutely beautiful and fit’s in my hand like a glove!

Most comfortable knife ever!
I bought the SR-22A RB in June of 2020 but it took me about 3 months or so to decide to actually carry it dew to it being such a good looking knife! The knife fits in my hand perfect ( medium size hands ) and it just feels amazing, I love almost everything about it and use it for cutting card board and all my other cutting tasks, I’m a carpenter by trade and I even use it for cleaning up cuts, shaving clearance and scraping paint runs along with everything else that a knife is needed for in the corse of the day, the 1 problem I have started back in December when I noticed that the black coating on the blade had started completely coming off in huge chips, I’ve had a lot of knifes with the black blades and it always wears off but I’ve never seen it happen like this before ! I’ve sent 3 emails to lion steel about this problem but so far haven’t heard a word except 1 email back in late December telling me that they would contact me back after January 4th , as of now I don’t know if they stand behind there products or not, really hoping that they do because I just love there knifes and would like to get a couple of other models from them, also the sleipner steel is awesome! I got about a 17 degree edge on it and no chips so far , if I ever hear back from lionsteel I’ll add a update to this review
