This knife features SPG2 San Mai, a Japanese powder metallurgy steel that is tougher and has better resistance to corrosion than S30V and its edge retention is comparable to S35VN.

Mcusta does not use the conventional method of die stamping their blades like most mass-produced knives. Components are laser cut and C&C machined to assure the best possible precision fit.
