Description

ME374G10N: 374/G10N AM6 - Black

Maserin

The long and lasting collaboration with Attilio Morotti “Atti” continues, one of the best and most valued Italian knife makers. After more than 10 years of making knives with Atti, we feel like saying that it's not just a working relationship, but also one of friendship, collaboration, and mutual respect. This new project called AM6 is a very elegant EDC knife made with the best materials. Particular is the clip positioned on the back instead of on one side of the grips. The AM6 comes with either G10 or titanium handles scales shaped in a slim style and grooves that aid in gripping the knife. A sturdy D2 blade is deployed manually with a thumb stud and is assisted with thrust bearings to make a smooth action.

Pros: Weight, Handle Material, Pocket Clip, Overall Quality
Cons: None
Very cool but a little disappointing
Just got it but I can see one significant issue right out of the box. I cannot open it with one hand. The cutout in the g10 is not big enough to get my thumb under, and the thumb stud is too rounded to get any grip. Literally have to get two fingernails on both sides of the thumb disc to open it Should be ok once I Dremel out the g10 some more. Lefties will probably have more trouble because the titanium side has no cutout at all. other than that it seems like high quality.
