Opinel Knives

The Opinel N08 is the most popular and versatile size in the ever-growing line of Opinel folding knives. Stabilized Oak Wood is ultra-resistant and comfortably contoured to fit the hand. The blade is made from 12C27 Sandvik Stainless steel, which will not rust, however, try to avoid leaving your Opinel knife in damp environments for too long and dry the blade after each use.

Safety

  • This knife features the Virobloc Safety ring. The Virobloc safety ring was invented and implemented in 1955. This simple yet effective locking system greatly improved the original knife. The ability to help prevent the blade from opening when closed was added to the Virobloc in 2000.

Opinel
Opinel is a classic French knife. When it comes to grinding, it's pretty hard without damaging the blade. The fuse definitely doesn't work a lot of shaking the blade. It's a nice short for the collection. For non-demanding users and EDC.
